Family Zip Line Tour 2500 feet of zip lines cross a desert canyon, 80-100 feet off the ground. You sit attached to the first 600 foot long zip line via a pulley and safety backup and can feel the slight breeze through the vibration of the rope. Your mouth is dry and as you schooch toward the edge of the cliff, somthing fundamental is telling you to back up. The paitient and calm instructor assures you that everything is set and you lean forward. The thrill of flight is elemental, and you dont remember screaming as you soar from one canyon rim to the other. The rush of wind, whine of the pulley and spinning sky are all that exist until the firm stop of the catch rope arrests your speed and you are pulled in to the end of the line.
