For great service and amazing food, try Even Steven’s Sandwiches! They are still fairly new to Saint George, and have already earned a reputation for having the best sandwiches in town. We here at Paragon personally eat here often, even our gourmet chef, which says a lot!
Service
Great service! This place is popular and can occasionally have a line nearly “out-the-door” but the service is quick enough to handle it. The line can appear long only because food is ordered at the counter before you sit. Walk up and grab a hand held menu because their sandwich names don’t fully describe what they contain. Even when busy, they bring your food to your table quickly and with a smile.
Sandwiches
Their sandwiches are the best in town. They have many traditional sandwiches like a mouth-watering Reuben(my personal favorite), but most have a unique twist. One example is their Sloppy Joe, which is made with beef AND chorizo. Another unique sandwich is the Do Gouda: a steak sandwich with a red onion marmalade. They also have two vegetarian and two vegan sandwiches. All sandwiches are served with either a salad (made from real greens, not just iceberg lettuce!) or chips and a pickle slice.

Breakfast
Breakfast is served all day here, so don’t feel rushed. They offer a breakfast sandwich, burrito, French toast and a bit more. (Check out the menu below)
Extras
They also serve great, healthy salads and random sides like tots, and hummus. (not together…unless you request it) and tomato bisque. In addition to sandwiches, breakfast and salads, they also offer a meal of a half sandwich, half salad or soup, and a drink.

Drinks
They have self-serve fountain drinks, cucumber-infused ice water, local coffee, good beer and even berry mimosas.

Seating/Atmosphere
The restaurant is spacious, with tables and booths for seating, including outdoor seating, facing St. George Blvd. They have music playing, ranging from oldies to reggae. There are TV’s and murals on the walls. They even have a sack-toss game next to some lounge-style seating, and (something parents can appreciate) crayons with activity place mats to occupy little kids. The kitchen is open, which is a nice touch.

Donations
Even Steven’s donates enough funds from every sandwich they sell to donate a sandwich to a person in need. Basically, for every sandwich you buy, you are giving another to someone who can’t afford to eat. Their partners include the Utah Food Bank, The Dove Center, Switchpoint (homeless shelter/thrift shop), and The Learning Center for Families. Check out their website to see how many sandwiches they have donated to-date in the Saint George area. As of March 2017, they were up to 114,817!
