This course of instruction will cover all the basic skills necessary to go out and climb with a partner of similar abilities in a top rope climbing situation. We place great emphasis on the technical aspects of belaying, rappelling, and anchor systems, as well as the basics of rope work, climbing movements, equipment usage and risk evaluation. The course is taught over 3 days of 4 hours each day. We feel that this kind of schedule enhances your level of retention by avoiding the information saturation so common with full day courses.

2 weeks before the scheduled program date we will call to obtain a credit card number to hold the reservation. We do not charge a deposit to this card however any cancellations after this point (for any reason) will result in a $25 cancellation fee
Cancellations of the program with less than 24 hours notice will be charged 100% of the program fee.
No shows will be charged 100% of the program fee.
If we need to cancel the program for any reason, there is no fee.
