Many people visiting Southwest Utah are here for the outdoor life, but when travelling with children, it can really help their occasionally-cranky attitudes to include some activities that are just for them.

In the Historic Town Square Park in Saint George, The St. George Children’s Museum offers several rooms with fun and educational hands-on activities for kids of all ages.

There is a market place with shelves stocked with toy foods in labeled categories and child-sized shopping carts. At the check-out stand, kids can get behind the counter, scan foods, pretend to charge money and operate a toy cash register.

There is a theater room with dress-up outfits, a stage, and the ability to play songs from your phone for them to perform to. There is also a pretend recording booth for your aspiring singers.

Their dinosaur room is excellent, with triceratops models, a sandbox full of fake bones and toys, and even a sled ride.

On top of all this, there is a mining room, a tree house, a veterinarian room, mail room, airport room, submarine room, basketball game room, and so much more.

There is so much for kids to do here that we highly encourage you to click the link below and read more, but even their website does not cover every activity they have. They also host small events like art classes and many other types of structured activities that you can view on their websites calendar.
