Many visitors to the Southwestern corner of Utah seem to think of it as not just a physical desert, but also a cultural desert. In more populated areas, cultural activities abound, and they are here as well but require a bit more digging to unearth.
Art festivals, historic sites, theatrical performances and more can fill in your days here all year around. These are great activities and events to do between your active days here, like hiking in Zion or other local trails, or going rappelling and rock climbing with some of our guides, as most normal humans need a rest day between these types of outdoor adventures. While it is admittedly a rare event, we do occasionally have a rainy day and these activities are often indoors with heat or air-conditioning as appropriate.
