Traverse across the top of an eroded butte in the middle of Snow Canyon state park.
This isolated summit traverse is far more complex than a simple ramble along a ridge line, for the top of this formation is a labyrinth of slots, fins, cliffs, bowls and secret passages.
Numerous technical skills will be utilized to make our way through this convoluted sandstone maze. The skills of hiking, scrambling, rock climbing, rappelling, canyoneering, crawling and route finding will all be of use in discovering the only path through this desert wonderland.

The Island in the sky program features:
– 1 mile of hiking

Reservation/Cancellation Policy:
2 weeks before the scheduled program date we will call to obtain a credit card number to hold the reservation. We do not charge a deposit to this card it simply holds the reservation.
Cancellations of the program with less than 24 hours notice will be charged 100% of the program fee.
No shows will be charged 100% of the program fee.
If we need to cancel the program for any reason, there is no fee.
