Parunuweap 3/4 Day Hiking Adventure

Step into a wilderness of solitude

The East fork of the Virgin River offers access to one of the most remote landscapes in the Zion region. The Paiutes referred to this canyon as Parunuweap, which means “Roaring Water.”    This adventure entails a 13 mile UTV ride through a maze of sand roads to the trail-head at the literal end of the road.  After a brief descent into the Parunuweap proper, the hike works into side canyons past petroglyphs, caves and alcoves so big they defy both physics and belief
