A series of narrow interconnecting canyons offer a scrambling hike around water obstacles, over slick rock domes and across a rocky, steep hillside. The lush canyon bottom terrain contrasts with the upland desert environment to make this a nicely varied hike that requires significant scrambling and agility.
The rewards for such a varied hike are many; from deep solitude to wide vistas of the vast red rock formations set against the Pine Valley Mountains.
