Kanarra creek flows out of springs high on the edge of the Colorado Plateau and has carved a wonderful forested drainage providing ample shade, cool pools of spring water, and intriguing side canyons to explore. This makes for one of the best hikes in the middle of a hot summer afternoon.
As an out and back hike with no technical obstacles, ample online directions, easy permit system to navigate, and a simple and obvious route, this is a hike which is frequently accomplished without a guide. However if you would like to understand the geology, natural history, flora and fauna of the area, as well as be equipped with comfortable water hiking equipment, and leave the logistics to us, we can provide a guide who will definitely enhance this experience.

2 weeks before the scheduled program date we will call to obtain a credit card number to hold the reservation. We do not charge a deposit to this card it simply holds the reservation.
Cancellations of the program with less than 24 hours notice will be charged 100% of the program fee.
No shows will be charged 100% of the program fee.
If we need to cancel the program for any reason, there is no fee.
