There are few places that seem to require a more leisurely pace and a willingness to saunter as the Rainbow ridge of the Yant Flat region. The edge of the mesa exposes innumerable domes, washes, cliffs and canyons of intricately striped red, pink, and white sandstone reminiscent of the Wave formation in the Paria Wilderness.  One mile of approach hiking along an old 4WD road ensures a fair level of solitude, which is enhanced by the wide latitude of hiking possibilities that present themselves along this vast and colorful mesa.

Fitness Level: 2
Active paced program with mild elevation gains for guests with greater endurance.
Strength: ability to climb a 12 foot ladder leaning against a house
Aerobic: ability to walk up 5 flights of stairs, without stopping
Balance: ability to stand on one foot for 10 seconds with eyes closed

Reservation/Cancellation Policy: 
2 weeks before the scheduled program date we will call to obtain a credit card number to hold the reservation.  We do not charge a deposit to this card however any cancellations after this point (for any reason) will be charged 50% of the total program fee.

Cancellations of the program with less than 24 hours notice will be charged 100% of the program fee.

No shows will be charged 100% of the program fee.

If we need to cancel the program for any reason, there is no fee.
