3/4 Day Rock Canyon Adventure

Canyoneering is an awesome means of discovery. Whether rappelling through an intimidating red rock slot canyon, or exceeding your self imposed limits, it is a great way to gain a new perspective in a lavishly beautiful venue.

This program is the perfect fit between a first canyon experience of our 1/2 day canyoneering intro and the endurance, and higher fitness level that a full day of canyon travel may require.

A series of 4WD roads lead to one of the most remote and unspoiled canyon systems in the region, and after a short hike we begin the first of multiple rappels (up to 110 feet high) down into a deep red series of interconnecting slots, springs, bowls, and grottoes.

Strolling downstream the canyon gets progressively lush until we reach the east fork of the Virgin River and stunning Parunuweap canyon, where after a gourmet lunch and dip in the river,  a brief uphill hike to the vehicle gains a vista usually reserved for a national park.

Unlike every other guide service in the region, Paragon Adventures provides two guides on nearly all of our technical canyoneering programs.*
